run/walk starting by the Morrison Bridge on the esplanade alongside the Willamette River in the HEART of downtown Portland. It continues past the geese if they're still in town, possibly a blue heron or two, the Riverplace shops and restaurants, kayakers and moored sailboats. Then a ways down SW Moody St. and back for not only the usual bananas, bagels, and water, but also homemade cinnamon rolls and coffee! All participants will receive a t-shirt.
Awards:
Top three male and female finishers will receive gift certificates to Foot Traffic. Other prizes will be given out randomly to lucky participants.
The Fanconi Anemia Research Fund has entered a Challenge America contest where the top four charities with the most individual donations (not most MONEY!) will win $50,000! We are close to being in the top 4 and could really use your help. If you are willing to donate $10.00 toward this contest, we just may win! $50,000 for research! How amazing would that be? Deadline: Jan 31st
